Soulful songwriter, Dan Sharp has spent the last two years slowly carving out a place in the NZ music landscape. Early 2018 saw him collaborate with acclaimed artist/producer, Thomas Oliver. The resulting first single, Lifeline, achieved several thousand plays quickly on the back of strong reviews from international blogs, including Australia's Happy Magazine. Dan then spent 6 weeks songwriting with established writers in the UK and Ireland. To round out the trip, Dan and Thomas linked up once again and recorded the remainder of Dan's EP, Slack Tide in Berlin. The EP achieved NZ Chart positions, 5 star reviews and Official Spotify playlisting - the top song, Kindle and Coal reaching half a million plays in under two months. From playing festival stages (Rhythm and Vines 2018/19) to smaller shows all over NZ, Dan is slowly making his mark. "Sharp is hauntingly inspired.
