We are a musical duo who would like to bring ourselves to your attention. We have been working hard since last year to create gig playlists in order to be ready to participate amongst the music circuit in Hawke's Bay during this coming Spring and Summer. In light of the Covid-19 virus, we realise that the future of our summer gigs is in peril. We choose to be optimistic, in the hope that we will return to Level 1 and enjoy a typical New Zealand summer of events and festivals. We want to be a part of this! We are L.T.D. (Living the Dream) and we would love to have the opportunity to show you some of our work with the intentions of securing an afternoon or more at your venue in the coming months. The type of music we focus on is what we would categorize as easy listening. If you refer to our attached playlist, you will see that many of the songs we have chosen to cover are songs that New Zealanders love to sing along and listen to. We feel that our target audience would be those people who would like to sit back, relax and listen to some music, perhaps during a Sunday session. Georgie Cole is our singer, and she is currently the Head of Music at Iona College. With a background in operatic singing, this is a new venture for her and she is excited to share a different style of music with her community. Aaron Sankey is our pianist. He has a love and passion for music, piano in particular, and loves to perform well known classics that everyone can sing along to - for example, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Queen and Adele. We are hoping to now raise our profile and hope that you will consider meeting with us and finding a date in the calendar when we could play for an afternoon at your venue. We look forward to hearing from you. We currently have two hour-long sets prepared for performance with more a third set in the works.
