born on a rock 'n roll wave in rural wairoa went to wairoa rock college then ranaway to the big city lights first wellington then auckland and several points in between and a stint in aussie. learned classical piano as a child. later on picked up a bass guitar and taught myself to play. when i started a new job they were getting a band together for the christmas party..i said i can play drums although i couldnt really...i learned fast...thanku dave grohl, paul and earl. always have an affinity with words...got books full of them some that make it into a poem or song. played in a few bands; bass player in one of the incarnations of marty hendersons brother love, co singer songwriter and bass player in agent armstrong, brief stint as drummer for screaming infamy until they morphed into a death metal band! more recently drummer for best left bent and have just become bass player for the newly formed band east coast wave doing punky, rocky covers; the ramones, the cure, dandy warhols; looking to add in some original songs to our setlist. i completed a diploma in sound engineering and music production at MAINZ, the highlight being able to use the trident console in studio 1!  i got to chic mix at sae audio in auckland and re-discovered music production, thanku lani and rachael (i think) inspirational. i have a small home studio where i delve into music, production, recording ...still got a 4-track!
