Wellington based musician Isobelle Walker had been crafting poetic and unique tunes since she was 10. Today, nothing much has changed. Originally from Hawke’s Bay, Isobelle brings small town roots to her new found Capital sound. As a live performer Isobelle’s voice has been described as haunting and emotive. Isobelle’s passion lies in harnessing her experiences, allowing her to write lyrics and melodies that create an intimate veil of sound. Isobelle draws her audience into her unique vision and welcomes them on an emotive lyrical journey. It’s her country meets concrete edge that allows Isobelle to explore genres such as folk, pop and soul, whilst still leaving room for undefined growth and sonic experimentation.
