Hi guys. I am “Frankly” AKA Francis (Frank) Chiaroni and I am a solo musician living in Hastings, Hawke’s Bay. The main instrument I play is the piano and I also sing. I can play the guitar and the flute, and am learning how to play bass. I dedicate a lot of my time towards producing my own music in my home studio as well as learning a variety of song covers. I also occasionally have jamming sessions with my band “Spring Flowers” and perform at venues with them whenever the opportunity arises. Ella Pollett is an award-winning emerging singer/songwriter from Hawke’s Bay. Known for her storytelling through music, Ella captivates audiences with her sweet voice, infused with a hint of country. In 2023, Ella had the honour of opening for Rod Stewart, alongside Cyndi Lauper and Jon Stevens, at the Mission Concert. She also took the stage as an opening act at the Outfield Music Festival. The Cellars

The Cellars are a feminist indie duo, made up of Isabella Aarons and Sinead Hegarty, longtime friends and musicians. Their original music traverses many themes, from “Meditations on the kindness of some strangers, [to] the [obstacles with] others” (review from Ambient light) woven together by their vocal harmonies and instrumental interplay of piano and guitar. The Cellars are working towards releasing an album next year, so definitely a band to watch.

Transplanted from London in 2017, having performed regularly at the Green Note, the Lantern Society and the Star at Hackney Downs to name a few. Now she haunts the Hawke’s Bay music scene with her thought-provoking melodies, and has self-released two albums and an EP. She has performed twice as part of Church Road’s Gwen Live Summer Sessions; her song ‘Button Blues’ was on the inaugural HB ‘Under the Sun’ record; and she has been known to do the occasional Joni Mitchell cover at the Cabana, alongside several other local divas.
