A passionate force in Te Matau-a-Māui (Hawke's Bay) music scene, Sneeky loves to be involved and support our community where possible. With over 25 years of collecting and exploring music, Sneeky has become renowned for her eclectic mix of sound in every DJ set. From deep house to disco, indie to ghetto, funk to melodic, if its rad it’ll be on the list. Her sets are a unique blend of most genres, sneeking in nostalgic tracks and samples that keep dance floors alive with movement and groovement. Sneeky always keeps the crowd moving with something fresh, funky, and something that seems familiar. Sneeky has performed a variety of Aotearoa's favourite festivals (NestFest, AUM, Abracadabra, Earth Beat, Collins St Festival, Vegan Vibes, Outfield, Cape Estate), community events including Nuit Blanche, Fringe in the Stings and SHHH Silent Discos. She has also had the pleasure of supporting some of NZ’s best electronic musicians (Brazen wahine, Pitch Black, Sweet Mix Kids, Dick Johnson, Flamingo Pier, P Digsss, SolarRosa, and Salmonella Dub) and playing alongside some of the bays best heavy hitters. Loving a project or 2, Sneeky also runs Sounds Selectors, an event company that focuses on creating safe, fun, eclectic events in the region. And is part of the funky and exciting, House of Beats, a dynamic collective that merges live sound with DJ sets to create a banging music experience. Featuring talented performers like saxophonist Ella, percussion duo Dali and Untz, and bassist Wills, the collective fuses funk, soul, tribal, and deep sounds for an exciting new take on dance music.
