Biography
A singer-songwriter who wears her heart on her sleeve, who has been documenting her life in song for over fifteen years, with an expressive, soulful voice, meet Kitty Day. Transplanted from London in 2017, having performed regularly at the Green Note, the Lantern Society and the Star at Hackney Downs to name a few. Now she haunts the Hawke's Bay music scene with her thought-provoking melodies, and has self-released two albums and an EP. She has performed twice as part of Church Road's Gwen Live Summer Sessions; her song 'Button Blues' was on the inaugural HB 'Under the Sun' record; and she has been known to do the occasional Joni Mitchell cover at the Cabana, alongside several other local divas.
